[The other boy reminded Ronan a lot of himself, though he couldn't say why. There was something about the way he laughed, the way he said he still wanted to break something. Ronan lived with that feeling almost all of the time. Either he was angry and wanted to break something or he loved something so much he wanted to break things. It all seemed to circle back around to violence.]

Man. [For a moment, that was all he said. Then he followed it up with;] I know the feeling.

[It was like the feeling had gotten under his skin and lived there now. Like it belonged. But it wasn't comfortable. It wasn't-- he couldn't put his finger on what it was or wasn't. It was just nebulous and there.]

If you figure out how to make that go away, let me know.

[His tone was flat but it was semi a joke. The only way he'd found to deal with it was racing, really. And sometimes even that didn't work.]
